Private & Group Piano Lessons

Marzena (Exner) Gulesserian offers private piano lessons for beginners to intermediate level students, in her Ambler, PA  piano studio.  Her goal is to develop the student's full musical potential by providing an aesthetic experience through sequential and balanced repertoire, progressive technique, music history, theory and performance opportunities.

A 35-week semester begins each year during the 2nd week of September and ends the last week of May.  During the semester, there are two one-week breaks:  the week of Christmas and the week of Easter.

Student Responsibility
The student is responsible to arrive at each lesson punctually and be well prepared for the lesson.  It will be important for the student to make daily practice a priority in his or her daily schedule.

Parent Responsibility
The parent must provide a tuned 88-keyed instrument in the best possible condition, chair or bench at the correct height, adequate lighting and a foot stool (for those whose feet do not yet reach the floor).    The instrument should be placed in an area that will offer the student the least amount of distraction. The child's attendance at all scheduled individual lessons and group lessons is necessary for progress. Parents should make themselves available during practice sessions (especially with young beginners) to assist in organizational skills and to encourage them with praise and loving support.

Tuition
The fee for private piano lessons is $25 for a 30-minute lesson and $30 for a 45-minute lesson.  Payments can be made monthly, are due on the first week of each month and can be paid with check or cash.

Instructional Music
For your convenience, I will purchase all instructional music. The payment for the music is due upon receipt.

Emergency Cancellations
Each student has the availability of a maximum of four (4) emergency cancellations per semester for which tuition will be waived.  Additional cancellations (over and above the four), must be paid for.
