| PAYMENT: Payment for materials is due upon registration. Your child's place in the class will only be held with full payment of the materials.
SIBLING DISCOUNT: The first child will pay full tuition and materials fees. All additional children will receive a 20% discount on tuition only (discount does not apply to materials fees). REFUNDS: Full tuition is due and collected at the start of the first class. If you find that this class does not meet your needs, please inform Marzena before the second class and a full refund will be given. After the second class, no refunds of tuition will be issued. Once you receive your materials, they cannot be returned for a refund. MISSED CLASSES: Refunds or credits are not issued for absences. Individuals are responsible for attending their class during the scheduled time period. Should an unexpected illness force you to miss a scheduled class, you are invited to attend another class within two weeks following the absence (please call Marzena at (215) 542-9683 so she can tell you which class you should attend). There is a maximum of two make-up classes per semester and they must be completed within that same semester (make-up classes do not "roll over" into the next semester nor are they refunded if you can't take them). INCLEMENT WEATHER: We follow the guidelines of Wissahickon School District. You can view early dismissal or closing information by going to www.wsdweb.org. If you have any questions about a particular day, just contact Marzena at (215) 542-9683. We will extend our semester to accommodate the snow day (up to two snow days) , or will schedule an alternative make-up day that will be announced in advance. MATERNITY CREDIT: We will provide a maternity credit of up to three weeks of tuition fees beginning with the week of the birth plus two weeks after for a normal delivery, and four week's credit for a Caesarian delivery. Credit can be redeemed against tuition fees only for the very next semester. INFANT SIBLINGS IN CLASS: Infants in car seats or strollers are welcome while their older sibling attends class. Please try to minimize distractions caused by an unhappy child - we will help watch over your other child while you tend to the child in need. FOOD POLICY: Leave food items and toys in the car - please refrain from bringing food or drink into the Kindermusik classroom. If your participating child is over 18 months of age, we also request that toys or comfort items be left in the car. In a Kindermusik Village class, bottles are quite acceptable and appropriate. This is also appropriate for younger siblings who are under 18 months of age sitting in on an older child’s class. VISITING GRANDPARENTS: are always welcome and invited to participate fully. They may take pictures as long as it's not disruptive to the class. Only one adult participates with the child during class. CLASS ARRIVAL: Arrive at class about 5 minutes early to get settled – free play with rhythm instruments at the start of class allows your child to quietly get acclimated to the classroom with his, or her, accompanying adult before the other children arrive and class begins. |
